HANDICAPPED ACCESSIBILITY SURVEY         (Summary: 926)
PARR, CYNTHIA

The 8th graders were given an extensive handicapped accessibility survey to perform in the temple.

The survey included measuring door widths and dimensions in the bathrooms, counting large print prayer books, testing for a hearing impaired system in the sanctuary and on the telephones, and assessing the accessibility of ramps. Once the kids had determined the limitations in the building, they chose a project and raised money to accomplish that goal.
