In this program, three panelists made presentations entitled:

  1. "Population Pressures as Environmental Problems", a geopolitical analysis of environmental problems resulting from population growth and urbanization;
  2. "Ethics in the Trenches", the history of the Love Canal debacle;
  3. "What We Are Doing to Our Atmosphere", projections of the long term effects of the increasing concentrations of greenhouse gases in the atmosphere and the loss of ozone in the upper atmosphere.
